Pre-Engineered Building Shed for Manufacturing Operations.
The CICO Pipes Units project involved the engineering, fabrication, and erection of a custom Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) shed designed for high-density pipe fabrication and storage. The structure utilizes a rigid portal frame system to maximize clear span space, allowing overhead forklift maneuvers and raw material storage racks without interior column obstructions.
By fabricating all primary structural steel columns and rafters at our plant, we delivered a rapid on-site bolted assembly, slashing erection schedules to under 12 days. The roof cladding features insulated metal sheets with targeted translucent poly-carbonate sky sheets to reduce electric daylight load requirements.
